Srinagar: Pahalgam, known as the Switzerland of India, is known as a romantic destination. Located in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, this scenic spot is known for its enchanting valleys and beautiful hills, as well as its special fruit-growing region. You can spend time relaxing in the lush green meadows. Even if you were a photographer, there would be no rest for your camera! This is such a special and beautiful place.

On April 22, a terrorist attack took place on the Pahalgam Dham, a famous tourist destination. Two gunmen who entered the sanctuary suddenly staring firing on the tourists present there. Eyewitnesses said that several tourists were threatened and lined up before being shot at. As soon as the news was received, the Indian Army launched a counterattack on the terrorists hiding in the hideout.

The hill station is very spacious. It is also very high. Some eyewitnesses said that two terrorists came and opened fire on the tourists, while some eyewitnesses said that four terrorists came. When you look at it, you can see that the terrorists did not enter the hill station from the single direction. Instead, there are suspicions that they infiltrated the hill station from different directions in multiple groups.

On April 22, a firing attack by terrorists took place in Pahalgam, a famous tourist destination there. 27 people were killed in this incident including 2 foreigners. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was currently on a foreign trip, has also cut short his trip and returned to Delhi.

PM Modi held a crucial meeting with key officials including External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, NSA Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri and senior security advisors.

The Prime Minister reviewed the situation, discussed diplomatic outreach and briefed on ongoing counter-terrorism measures, sources said. A strong, coordinated response is being prepared.
