Cardinal Kevin Farrell, the priest, shared a message about the passing of Pope Francis. "Dear brothers and sisters, I share with you the sad news that our Holy Father, Pope Francis, has left us. I got this sad news, this morning (local time) at 7:35 when I went to see Pope Francis, Bishop of Rome. His whole life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and his Church" he recalled.
"He taught us lessons on values, loyalty, courage, and love for all. He taught us to live in solidarity, especially with the poor and the most vulnerable," he said.

Pope Francis was suffering from a chronic health problem. He was also known as the first Latin American leader of the Roman Catholic Church. He had been in office for the past 12 years and had been suffering from serious health problems in recent days.
